Partiamo da MARINE CRENN, francese di origine, italiana di adozione, mamma di due bambini ed ex Press Officer e Communication Manager. Marine ama cucire e dopo essersi occupata a tempo pieno dei suoi figli sente il bisogno di rimettersi in gioco. Marine conosce bene il campo della merceria online, che riscuote grande successo all’estero. Per questo si mette alla ricerca di un progetto che le permetta di conciliare professione e famiglia e cresce in lei l’idea di creare una E-merceria: nasce così, nel 2013, Supercut.it

Let's start from MARINE CRENN, who was born in France and who is now Italian by adoption, mother of two, and former Press Officer and Communication Manager. Marine loves to sew and after having worked full-time for her children she felt willing to start to work again . Marine knows the field of online haberdashery, which is very successful abroad. This is the reason why she starts looking for a project that will enable her to reconcile work and family. Marine has the great idea of establishing an E-haberdashery : in 2013 she founds Supercut.it

Il sito è online da soli alcuni mesi, ed è un trionfo di Tessuti al metraggio, scampoli, libri di cucito, articoli di merceria.

Tessuti e accessori sono scelti con la massima cura e sono creati dalle marche e dai designers più famosi nel mondo del « hand-made with love » (fatto a mano con amore): troverete quindi le bellisime stoffe fiorite della prestigiosa casa londinese Liberty, i disegni d’ispirazione cinese di Petit Pan da Parigi, la giocosità nelle creazioni di Linna Morata, le sottilissime batiste e popeline di France Duval-Stalla, l’originalità delle stoffe cerate di KitschKitchen, famosa marca olandese con accenti messicani, il tocco “Oh so British!” della merceria dal richiamo vintage Merchant&Mills, etc.

Paola began to read, to try hard , to follow tutorials on the internet, to learn ... Paola became a sewing- addicted , she created the blog " La Casetta in Canadà " and opened a shop on Etsy, where she sells some of her tiny creations , hand-sewn with passion. Paola produces garments on commission, holding as a reference many French and Japanese books and she is buying many of the fabrics she uses on the website of Marine ... aren’t they beutiful?

KAYWA e AAKKOSET

Lincoln Kayiwa è nato nel 1979 a Kampala, in Uganda, da una famiglia di architetti. Dopo essersi laureato con un Master of Arts presso l’Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture nel 2007, fonda la propria società, KAYIWA, con la quale progetta prodotti innovativi, funzionali e di design, ciascuno dei quali è realizzato come un objet d’art unico nel suo genere.

Lincoln Kayiwa was born in 1979 into an architectural family in Kampala, Uganda. He graduated as a Master of Arts from the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2007. Oggi vi parliamo di due progetti della designer tedesca Hanna Emelie Ernsting perfetti per i nostri bambini e davvero bellissimi.
Iniziamo da Petstool, ovvero una serie di sgabelli dalle sembianze animali (4 in tutto) che possono fungere da poggiapiedi e che vi riscalderanno nelle serate più fredde.

Let's talk about two projects of the German designer Hanna Emelie Ernsting which seems to be perfect for our kids and which we really find beautiful.
Let's start with Petstool, a series of stools resembling 4 animals that will keep your feet warm in the coolest evenings.
Aren't they beautiful?

"La cabane" apparteneva al progetto “La cabane sûr lit“, al quale ha lavorato durante il suo semestre all'Ensad di Parigi. Un progetto assegnatole da Djeco, una società francese per i prodotti per bambini molto famosa.
L'obiettivo era quello di creare un rifugio, in grado di offrire al bambino un posto in cui nascondersi, giocare e dove poter anche dormire.
Perché molti bambini dispongono di piccole camere da letto, la costruzione questo oggetto è stata progettata per essere messo, piegato come un tetto, sul letto di un bambino e di essere facilmente rimovibile. Fatta di metallo, legno e stoffa, La Cabane può anche essere semplicemente appoggiata contro un muro, utilizzata come separè, o può addirittura essere smontato per essere riposto o trasportato.
I materiali solidi assicurano la durata dell'oggetto nel tempo, e la sua struttura lo rende adattabile alle diverse fasi della vita di un bambino.

“La cabane” belonged to the project “La cabane sûr lit“ that she worked on during her semester at the Ensad in Paris. The project was assigned by Djeco, a French company for childrens' products.
The assignment was to create a hut, a "cabana" that provides a place for children to hide, play and sleep in.
Because many children have only small rooms, the construction of "L'arch" was designed to fit, folded like a roof, onto a child’s bed and to be easily removable. She chose a simple structure made of strong materials: metal, wood and cloth. It can also be simply leaned against a wall, used as a screen or room partition, or even taken apart for storage or transporting.
The solid materials ensure that the hut can survive several years of active playing, and the structure makes it adjustable for the different stages of a child's life.

IPPOPOTAMI ECOLOGICI

Ryo Shimura giovane artista che usa la sua arte per affrontare importanti questioni ambientali come le specie in via di estinzione, ha progettato questo set di pastelli dalla forma di ippopotamo. 

Ma non è solo un'idea divertente infatti una parte dei proventi delle vendite è destinato alla conservazione dell'ambiente.

Ryo Shimura is a young artist that uses his art to tackle major environmental issues like endangered species.

He has designed these hippo's crayons.

Part of sales revenue goes towards environmental preservation.

Un lato è piano e permette di mettere insieme due pastelli per creare differenti tipi di linee e modelli.

Having a flat underside, you can also be really inventive and put two crayons together, creating all kinds of neat lines and patterns.

PAPILA

Papila è una piattaforma che indaga su nuovi modi di godere dell'esperienza del mangiare, e quindi collabora con i più importanti professionisti del design e della cucina.
Il food design è una disciplina in cui il cibo viene considerato materiale di design in un modo del tutto nuovo per la cucina tradizionale. Papila produce alcune di queste MERAVIGLIOSE creazioni.

Papila is a platform that investigates new ways to enjoy the experience of eating, and therefore collaborates with leading professionals in design and cuisine.
The food design is a discipline in which food is taken as a design material in an entirely way to the traditional cuisine. Papila produces some of these BEAUTIFUL creations.

The investigation and research for new forms of interaction with food is accomplished through workshops, getting to know other ways of working and visiting other professionals and institutions.
