RIKA

RIKA  è stata fondata nel 2004 a Lima, in Perú dal designer industriale Ricardo Geldres e dall'artista "plastica" Kareen Nishimura.
RIKA si dedica alla progettazione e allo sviluppo di prodotti realizzati con materiali non convenzionali, salvando tecniche artigianali di produzione e aggiungendo allegria ad ogni singolo oggetto. Rika fa uso dei propri materiali riutilizzandoli, adattandoli e riciclandoli in modo innovativo.

PRIMO: DAL GIOCO ALLA LOGICA

Oggi vi parliamo di un gioco che insegna ai bambini la programmazione logica senza la necessità di alfabetizzazione.

Today we are featuring a playful physical programming interface that teaches children  logic programs without the need for literacy.

Si chiama PRIMO ed è composto da 3 elementi principali: 

1-Cubetto l'amico robot;

Its name is PRIMO and it is composed by 3 main items:
1-Cubetto: a friendly robot;

2-Una Scheda che altro non è che un'interfaccia di programmazione fisica;

2-The board, a physical programming interface;

3-Il codice, ossia una serie di istruzioni (avanti, sinistra, destra)

3-The code,a set of instruction blocks (Forward, Left, Right)

I bambini immettono  dei blocchi di istruzioni sulla scheda in un ordine pre-stabilito per definire come Cubetto dovrà muoversi, poi premendo il pulsante rosso il robot inizierà il movimento.

L'obiettivo del gioco è quello di guidare Cubetto alla sua destinazione, rappresentato da una casa, un grande cubo, una scatola, o qualsiasi altro oggetto di vostra scelta.

Giocando con Primo, i bambini sperimentano le istruzioni preimpostate acquistando via via più familiarità con questo concetto molto importante che rappresenta le fondamenta logiche della programmazione vera e propria.

Children place all the instruction blocks onto the board in a set order to determine how Cubetto moves, before pressing a red button to set the robot in motion.

The goal of the game is to guide Cubetto to its destination represented by a house, a big cube, a box, or any other object of your choice.

Playing with Primo, children become gradually more familiar with this very important concept that represents the logical foundations of real programming.

ROBOLE - IL ROBOT CHE MUTA FORMA

I Robole sono robot di legno, il cui aspetto dipende dalla fantasia del suo possessore. Sono costituiti da parti in legno combinate insieme da magneti. Gli elementi che li compongono non hanno una funzione ben definita,  il che rende possibile la creazione di robot dalle diverse sembianze ogni volta che lo si vuole.
I magneti consentono di creare semplici articolazioni in movimento, quindi i Robole non sono figure fisse, ma possono interagire con voi. I Robole sono giocattoli adatti a bambini e adulti.

Robole are wooden robots, whose appearance depends on the imagination of the holder. They consist of wooden parts combined together by magnets. The elements are not assigned to any function, which makes it possible to interpret them freely, each time creating different robot.
The magnets allow to create simple moving joints, hence robole are not just stationary figures, but they may interact with the user. robole are a universal toy for kids and adults. Robole will be available for purchase soon.
