EPERFA TOYS

Oggi vogliamo parlarvi di Anna, Nora e Nagy, tre ragazze ungheresi che creano giocattoli per bambini molto belli che richiamano la flora e la fauna delle colline intorno a Budapest e al Lago Balaton che hanno frequentato durante l'infanzia. Tutti i giocattoli di Eperfa, questo il nome del loro brand, sono fatti in legno proveniente dal Parco Nazionale del Danubio, e la maggior parte di essi sono creati da persone disabili o socialmente svantaggiate.
I colori che hanno scelto sono il verde del lago Balaton, il grigio-rosa dei tramonti, le mille sfumature di azzurro delle colline.

Today we want to write about Anna, Nora and Nagy, three Ungarian girls who make beautiful toys about two places of Hungary: the hills around Budapest and the Balaton Lake.
All the toys created by Eperfa , this is the name of the Brand, are made by wooden material sourced from the Danube-Ipoly National Park and are created by disabled or socially underprivileged people.
For the colours of the toys they have chosen the greens of Lake Balaton, the grayish-pink of the sunsets, the thousands of shades of blue of the hills.

GIOSTRINE MOBILI DI DESIGN

Nel 1952 la coppia danese di artisti Anni & Bent Knudsen ha iniziato a creare oggetti con la carta e giostrine mobili che hanno deliziato i bambini (e i loro genitori) in tutto il mondo. La coppia ha ricevuto numerosi premi per il design e la motivazione è stata che il ruolo di Bent Knudsen  nel taglio della carta doveva essere paragonato a quello di Hans Christian Andersen nelle fiabe. Nel 2008 Anni & Bent Knudsen hanno ceduto la loro attività alla società Livingly, che continua l'antica tradizione della coppia Knudsen e che ha progettato grazie a Louise Helmersen nuovi design. In 1952 the Danish couple of artists Anni & Bent Knudsen started to create paper cuts and mobiles which delighted children (and parents) all over the world since the beginning. The couple received many design awards and the motivation was that Bent Knudsen’s importance to the craft of paper cuts and mobiles was to be compared to Hans Christian Andersen’s importance to the fairytales. In 2008 Anni & Bent Knudsen sold their business to Livingly.  Livingly continues Anni & Bent Knudsens old tradition of an annual season’s design, and Louise Helmersen has designed the new designs. Lo studio di design YOY di Tokyo fondato da Naoki Ono e Yuki Yamamoto ha creato queste bellissime mensole ispirandosi ad un foglio di carta trasportato dal vento.

The Japanese design studio YOY founded by Naoki Ono and Yuki Yamamoto created these beautiful shelves inspired by a sheet of paper carried by the wind.

Le mensole sono in acciaio laccato e possono essere utilizzate singolarmente oppure disposte a gruppi, donano armoniosità e allegria alle pareti delle camerette dei bambini.

These shelves are made of coated steel and can be used individually or arranged in groups, they will surely give harmony and joy to the walls of our children's bedrooms.

CHI SEMINA VENTO...RACCOGLIE SCIARPE E MOBILI!

 

Oggi vi parliamo di un progetto stupefacente di design ecosostenibile. Perchè, non ci crederete, ma i bellissimi elementi d'arredo delle foto (perfetti per le camerette o per lo studio dei nostri bambini)sono realizzati INTERAMENTE grazie alla forza del vento.
Il progetto si chiama WINDWORKS ed è l'evoluzione di un progetto altrettanto innovativo, chiamato WIND KNITTING FACTORY. Dietro al progetto c'è Merel Karhof, designer olandese che vive tra i Paesi Bassi e la Gran Bretagna, che camminando per Londra, nel 2010, ha avuto la brillante idea di creare una macchina eolica per maglieria.Con la forza del vento questa macchina, posta all'esterno di un edificio londinese, si aziona e fila il tessuto che scende per essere ripreso all'interno dello stesso edificio attraverso la finestra posta al piano sottostante. Il materiale lavorato a maglia viene confezionato e venduto sotto forma di sciarpe, ciascuna con un'etichetta che riporta il tempo di lavorazione.

Today we are featuring an amazing project of sustainable design. Believe it or not, the pieces of furniture in the pictures (woudn't they fit perfectly in our kids's rooms) are made ​​ENTIRELY due to the strength of the wind.
The project is called WINDWORKS and is the evolution of another innovative project , called WIND KNITTING FACTORY. Behind the project there is Merel Karhof, a young Dutch designer who lives between the Netherlands and Great Britain, who  in 2010, had the brilliant idea of ​​creating a wind knitting machine. She placed it outside a building in South Kensigton in London. With the power of the wind, a knitting machine knits from the outside towards the inside of a building. The knitted material ua rounded-off in individually packaged scarves. Each scarf has its own label in which tells you how much time it Has Been knitted and on which dates.

Poi la Merel ha pensato di utilizzare i tessuti prodotti grazie all'energia eolica per rivestire sedie, sgabelli e panchine. Si è recata in Olanda nella zona dei mulini a vento, la Zaanse Schans e ha messo insieme il lavoro di tre mulini per dare vita ad una serie di complementi d'arredo. Il processo di falegnameria, di tintura e di tessitura dei filati sono frutto di macchine eoliche.

She went to Holland in the area of the windmills, the Zaanse Schans and put together the work of three mills to give life to a series of home furnishings. The process of carpentry, dyeing and weaving yarns are the result of wind machines.
