TSUKIMI

Tsukimi is V-shaped Japanese minimalist version of Lego, made with Japanese Cedar ecologically harvested in a village of Nagasagi Prefecture, and is designed by Kengo Kuma, an internationally famous architect who is designing the new Stadium for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, in collaboration with ryuichi sakamoto’s forest conservation organization more trees. This is a set of 13 pieces which can can be stacked and assembled in a variety of ways.

L'ARTE DI SERGIO GARCIA

 

 

Sergio Garcia è un artista Americano che usa l’unconventional come tema per i suoi molteplici lavori.

I suoi tricicli sono sculture che fanno cambiare il proprio tradizionale punto di vista legato al ricordo dei nostri giocattoli d’infanzia.

In effetti è proprio così!

TOMITA NATSUMI

L'artista giapponese Tomita Natsumi, una giovane artista piena di talento nata a Tokyio nel 1986, realizza meravigliose sculture di animali utilizzando materiale di scarto raccolto per strada. 
Come sapete amiamo chi da nuova vita ad oggetti che altrimenti sarebbero destinati alle discariche.

CARDBOARD CITY BY VICKY KNYSH

La Città in cartone (Cardboard City) di Vicky Knysh è stata realizzata per la Sofia Design Week del 2011. Non si tratta di una semplice installazione. bensì di veri e proprio giocattoli adatti a grandi e piccini!
Vicky ha creato alberi, case, un labirinto, un bar e un teatro delle marionette. I suoi amici Mila Baleva e Geo Kalev hanno poi realizzato un meraviglioso spettacolo di burattini!

The “Cardboard City from Vicky Knysh" was created for Sofia Design Week 2011.
All object are actual toys, not just cardboard installation, they are suitable for adults as well!
She made cars and trees, houses, the labirinth, cafe and the puppet theatre.
During first 2 days of the exhibition her friends Mila Baleva and Geo Kalev made amazing puppet shows!

"I try to express a sense of fantasy as well as wit and humour within my work. My aim is to create an imaginary world for people to enter, a nostalgic glimpse of childhood fantasies. I endeavour to capture every imagination!"

Siamo innamorate del lavoro dell'ebanista Fabrice Bouchereau che nel suo granaio in Normandia , con l'utilizzo di oggetti di scarto di varia natura, crea innumerevoli oggetti unici e bellissimi, tra cui una serie di trofei pieni di fascino. Collabora con un falegname di Perché (una regione a Ovest della Francia), il che gli permette di disporre di vecchi travi provenienti da case tipiche di questa regione.

We really love what Fabrice Bouchereau makes in his barn in Normandy by recovering everything he finds around him. He creates lovely and unique pieces, and what we love the most are his trophies, which are really beautiful.
He collaborates with a carpenter from Perche (a West region of France) which allows  him to have at his disposal some old beams from typical homes from this part of France.
