“Preschool Pocket Treasures" by Melissa Kaseman

La fotografa americana (di San Francisco) Melissa Kaseman ci mostra nella sua serie “Preschool Pocket Treasures" come in una tasca possa essere racchiusa l'essenza dell'arte. Ci mostra infatti una serie di scatti in cui evidenzia il contenuto delle tasche di suo figlio Calder al rientro dalla scuola materna. Il progetto ha come obiettivo quello di congelare questi momenti di infanzia e i suoi sviluppi.

San Francisco photographer Melissa Kaseman shows in her latest photo series, “Preschool Pocket Treasures,” all the small objects she finds stuffed in her son’s Calder pockets each day when he comes home from preschool. This project was born out of a desire to capture the magical moments of his boyhood and his development.

Il fotografo francese Alain LaBoile ci mostra immagini fantastiche e bucoliche dei suoi sei figli, nella serie La Famille, foto in bianco e nero che catturano la magia di essere bambini, l'innocenza, la libertà di espressione, la scoperta del mondo che ci circonda. Le foto sono scattate a Gironde a Sudovest della Francia, il paese natale del fotografo.

The French photographer Alain LaBoile shows fantastic and bucolic pictures of his six kids, in the series La Famille, a series of black and white photos that capture the magic of being a child, the innocence, the freedom of expression, the discovery of the world which surrounds us . His pictures are taken in Gironde in the southwest of France, the birthplace of the photographer.
