ZOO SMALL BY CARTUNIA DESIGN

Chi da piccolo non ha avuto paura di rimanere a luce spenta in camera? Niente paura però, ci pensa Cartunia Design a sconfiggere questa paura! Cartunia Design ha infatti realizzato ZOO SMALL, una serie di piccole meravigliose lampade realizzate con una carta in pasta di legno lavorata a onda, chiamata Wood Wave, che garantisce alle lampade solidità e durevolezza. Grazie al rivestimento esterno le lampade sono inoltre lavabili e riciclabili. Most kids go through a stage in which they're afraid of the dark. No worries though, Cartunia Design has created ZOO SMALL, a series of small wonderful lamps made with Wood Wave, a plant based cardboard specially designed by Cartunia Design to ensure their products have a strong and durable structure. The core is made of virgin paper assembled with corn starch coated with a “soft” layer of polypropylene moisture – resistant, environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable.

Gli studenti della Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle University of Art and Design in Germania hanno presentato al Salone del Mobile svoltosi a Milano lo scorso Aprile, il risultato della loro interpretazione di cameretta per bambini.
Otto studenti hanno così creato con immaginazione originali letti, lampade, sedie, tavoli e scrivanie.

The "Design of Playing and Learning" course at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle/Germany has presented the results of the "children's room revisited" project at the International Furniture Trade Fair in Milan last April 2016.
Eight students dealt with the interior furnishing of children's rooms and created a bed, shelf unit, table, chair and lamps in an imaginative manner.

Alexander Kanygin è un product designer e architetto che vive e lavora San Pietroburgo- Russia che autoprogetta e crea giocattoli e mobili dal design moderno, lavorando principalmente con il legno, e sperimentando con plastica e metallo. Alexander ha aperto il proprio laboratorio nel 2010 e partecipa a mostre internazionali di prodotto-design dal 2012.
Abbiamo selezionato alcune delle sue creazioni, dalla lampada da muro a forma di orso, al tavolino, per arrivare alla scimmietta in legno (vedere sito).

Alexander Kanygin — product designer and architector based in Saint-Petrsburg, Russia. He creates self-designed furniture and toys in modern style working mostly with wood, experimenting with plastic and metal. Alexander opened his own workshop in 2010 to provide complex interior solutions for his projects. He takes part in international product-design exhibitions since 2012. 
We made a selection of some of his creations: a wall lamp looking like a bear, a table, and a monkey woodtoy .

Zoe Est Studio is run by a family who lives in England, who creates original hand-made products inspired by elements of nature such as birds and insects.

We love this Snowpuppe lampshade which have has a cornered outside and a curved inside. The curved inside is quite unexpected. This lampshade is folded of 1 piece of special paper of the type Butterfly. The strong folds and curved folds on the inside play with the light. The lamp gives smooth, cozy light. It is very suitable for use in a kidsroom.

FANTASIZED LAMP

FANTASIZED sono lampade progettate dal Designer belga Sep Verboom che per il suo progetto di laurea si è recato ed ha vissuto per cinque mesi a Cebu City nelle Filippine dove ha potuto constatare che i rifiuti sono effettivamente un grosso problema in quanto causano grossi problemi di salute.
Dal riciclo di vecchi ventilatori dismessi e strisce di rifiuti industriali nascono così queste allegre lampade e lampadari.

FANTASIZED LAMPS were designed by Belgian Industrial Designer Sep Verboom for his graduation project; he traveled and lived for five months in Cebu City in Philippines where he saw that waste is a big problem that cause health and flooding problems.
Fantasized is made of old ventilators bought from local junkshops that are combined with industrial waste strips.
