& ME - Pitti 86 -Unduetrestella

Thanks to Francesca (Threelittlepigs Blog) and Paola Noè (Unduetrestella) I have been able to have a look at the news presented by the Brand &ME (see our post dated 2015) at Pitti Bimbo 86 (Florence, 18 -20 January).
I have always loved their love for handmade and their use of natural materials and timeless forms. Have a look at their new (and old, why not?) collection, you will love it for sure.
Here, my personal selection:

The new &me baby gym uses similar design elements as its bigger brother the &me crib. Created as a visually appealing addition to your babys environment whilst still having actual function in tactilly and visually entertaining your little one.

Wood puzzle with modern archetype forms.

99 NUMBERS
This new toy is both educative and decorative. It is a way to learn counting and numbers playfully. You can count from 00 to 99. While playing with it, kids learn their numbers.
It is inspired by old-fashioned numbers from ball games.

WOOD CLOCK
A funny way of learning how to read the time on a clock.

Tash Creations Srl è un'azienda italiana, creata da due designers: Adam Shillito (inglese) e Flavio Tambani (Italiano). Per circa 20 anni hanno lavorato entrambi come Toy Designers per importanti realtà del settore giocattolo decidendo poi in seguito di creare qualcosa di proprio. 
I due designers non creano solo giocattoli, ma oggetti ludici per persone che amano il design, la qualità, attente ai dettagli. Non solo giocattoli, ma oggetti speciali, da cusodire nel tempo.
Tutti i prodotti di Tash Creations sono realizzati a mano con l'ausilio di artigiani locali ubicati nei pressi del Lago di Como, in Italia. Nulla lascia il loro laboratorio senza essere stato scrupolosamente controllato.

Tash Creations Srl is a company created by two designers, Adam Shillito (English) and Flavio Tambani (Italian). Having both worked as toy designers for nearly 20 years with the most famous toy brands in the world, they decided it was time to make their  own line of very special products. 
Their dream was to make not only toys, but playful objects for people that share their passion for design, quality, fanatical attention to detail and above all 'objects that are so special, you want to keep them forever'. 
All of their products are hand-made with the help of highly skilled local artisans from the Lake Como area in Italy. Nothing leaves their workshop without being thoroughly checked by them personally.

Mitahli è una realtà australiana situata nel New South Wales creata da un papà, Hayden, una mamma, Tracy, e dalle due loro splendide bambine, Mia e Tahlia, la fonte di ispirazione per l'intera collezione.
Quest'ultima comprende bellissime mensole portalibri, specchi, complementi d'arredo, appendiabiti, giocattoli per bebè etc.Tutto è realizzato e progettato da Mitahli.

La nascita di "Timo-handmade" è avvenuta quasi x caso, quando durante un trasloco a Timor sono capitati tra le mani un barattolo di bottoni, una federa ricamata, fili multicolori, etc...così si è messa al lavoro e guardate un po' cosa è riuscita a fare?

Oggi vi parliamo di Babee & Me ovvero di  prodotti realizzati a mano per bambini, giocattoli di qualità e articoli per la casa. Dopo aver avuto due bambini, Rachel McKenzie si è resa conto dell'importanza per un bambino di possedere qualcosa di unico, divertente e realizzato a mano con cui giocare. Tenendo conto del proprio amore per il design, per le stampe e per i giocattoli in legno, Rachel ho fondato Babee & Me nel 2010. Oggi, tutti i prodotti Babee & Me sono progettati e creati nel suo home studio, vicino al punto più orientale d'Australia, a Byron Bay. Rachel si reputa molto fortunata perchè possiede uno studio illuminato con una fonte di luce naturale ed è circondata da una lussureggiante campagna sub-tropicale, che fornisce continua ispirazione per i suoi progetti. Tutti i prodotti della gamma sono fatti a mano, nel rispetto dell'etica e sono bio, ove possibile. I materiali utilizzati sono di forniture locali quando disponibili. I tessuti sono stampati a mano e i blocchi e i giocattoli di legno sono realizzati con cura per garantirne la sicurezza per bambini e ragazzi. Welcome to Babee & Me – a handmade designer label for babies and kids quality toys and homewares.
After Rachel McKenzie had two beautiful boys, born in 2008 and 2010, she realized how special it was for a child to have something unique, fun and handmade to play with. Based on a love of design, hand printing and wooden toys, she founded Babee & Me in 2010.
Today, all Babee & Me products are designed and created in her home studio, close to the most easterly point of Australia, Byron Bay. Rachel knows she is very lucky to have a studio that fills with natural light and is surrounded by lush sub-tropical countryside, providing continual inspiration for her designs.
All of the products in the range are handmade, ethical and organic where possible. She sources local materials and supplies whenever available. The fabrics are screen printed by hand and the blocks and wooden toys are carefully crafted to be safe for babies and kids. Babee & Me was nominated in the 2015 Etsy Design Awards!
