Archifold is a series of origami sheet of paper, the motives are based on the framework used by architects to create plans. A diagram is included in the envelope to give the possibility of making a little house, but it’s only one of the many possibilities offered by this set. We love this Snowpuppe lampshade which have has a cornered outside and a curved inside. The curved inside is quite unexpected. This lampshade is folded of 1 piece of special paper of the type Butterfly. The strong folds and curved folds on the inside play with the light. The lamp gives smooth, cozy light. Stampati su carta 160 grammi, le dimensioni dei fogli sono 210x148mm, ogni serie è firmata e numerata. Sul retro della confezione ci sono le istruzioni che indicano come piegare e incollare gli animali. On the back of the package is an instruction manual for how to fold and glue the animals.

Zhang & Thonsgaard designers presented "Playtime 2013 Collection" which is inspired to Asian and Scandinavian design traditions, fusing origami and patterns of knitted, Nordic sweaters.

L'idea alla base della collezione è quella di creare mobili facili da montare, con un design interessante e divertenti da montare.

The idea behind the collection was to create a playful, easy-to-assemble piece of furniture and to make the process of putting together the pieces, as folding and joining, an interesting and fun part of the design.

Playtime vuol dire mobili pieghevoli assemblati come origami, e tenuti insieme da piccole clips e magneti. Aperti sono piatti, leggeri e facili da trasportare e  da produrre, mentre oppotunamente piegati si trasformano in sgabelli e tavoli.

Playtime means pieces of forniture that, like paper folding, can be ‘clicked’ together with inserted magnets.  When unfolded, they are flat, lightweight and easy to transport, and it is possible to transform them into chairs and tables.
