BLOCKY is a set of wooden blocks to be colored with chalks. Made of solid wood, recovered from manufacturing processing waste,
painted with chalkboard painting to be transformed by kids imagination. An object able to enhance your creative thinking and that makes it fun to learn about recycling. Its packaging is very nice, made of cardboard and can be customized by kids (For example it can be turned into a birdhouse)

Have you ever bought a Zara garment for yourself or for your kids? Sure you have. Don't tell us you threw away the packaging! What a pity! This months Zara asks you to help them to recycle and to give each box a brand new life! The super cool Mer Mag has been asked to show us a tutorial for transforming these boxes in beautiful masks and costumes. You will need a pair of scissors, some acrilic colours, some fantasy and that's it.

Knauf and Brown is D Calen Knauf and Conrad Brown, based in Vancouver, Canada. 
Superbikes! is a children's toy made with all recycled materials: reclaimed wood, bike inner tubes, and old skateboard bearings.
All parts are interchangeable. ages 7 and up.

SARMIENTO: stiamo parlando di Maria Teresa Sarmiento, architetto e Julia Alejandra Sarmiento, giornalista.Sin da bambine Maria Teresa e Julia Alejandra hanno avuto uno stretto legame con il legno. Il loro nonno era l'architetto del Cantiere Sarmiento, ampiamente noto nell'ambiente della marina per le barche a vela realizzate a mano. Sono cresciute giocando sulle barche.L'idea di SARMIENTO nasce da due concetti:1) dalla continua ricerca di due mamme lavoratrici di giochi interessanti progettati per i bambini.2) dalla necessità di riutilizzare gli scarti di produzione del Brand NET (produttore di mobili di design che amano e conoscono da molto tempo). Net è un'azienda di design che crea mobili, che realizza architettura locale e si rivolge anche all'estero, esportando in America, Uruguay, Giappone, Cile.
Net è alla costante ricerca di ottimizzazione delle risorse e delle materie prime utilizzate. Sarmiento, in linea con la loro filosofia ha quindi pensato ad una collaborazione con loro.
Net utilizza materie prime di alta qualità ed esporta latifoglie come Lapacho, petiribí, pino del Brasile, paraiso etc, che forniscono diverse textures, diversi colori, pesi, etc, tutti molto interessanti al tatto e alla vista.
I prodotti di Sarmiento non sono mai gli stessi, perché dipendono dalla produzione in corso di Net.Si tratta di un processo creativo continuo: vedere lo spreco e trasformarlo in un prodotto ludico, sostenibile e divertente. Il risultato è sorprendente.Il motto di Sarmiento sono le 3 R: RIDURRE, RIUTILIZZARE, RICICLARE.beh...NOI LI AMIAMO, E VOI???

SARMIENTO: we are talking about Maria Teresa Sarmiento, architect and Julia Alejandra Sarmiento, journalist.
Since kids, they had much relation with wood as material. Their grandfather was the architect of Shipyard Sarmiento, widely well known in the marine environment for their sailboats handmade plywood. They grew up playing on  boats.
The idea of Sarmiento arises from two ideas:
1)    They are two  working moms who are always looking for interesting designed toys for children.
2)    The need to reuse the production waste Net furnitures (Brand that they love and know from long time). Net is a design house that creates furniture, local architecture and abroad, exporting to America, Uruguay, Japan, Chile. 
The Net production result from the realization of a thought. In the constant search to optimize resources and raw materials. So they made an aliance with them.
They have high quality raw materials and export hardwoods like Lapacho, Petiribí, Pine Brazil, Paraiso among others, that  provide us different extures, colors, weights, very interesting to the touch and sight.
The Sarmiento products are never the same, because they depend on production being carried out in Net.
It is a constant creative process: see the waste and transform it into a playful, sustainable and fun product. The result is unlimited.
Sarmientos base work are the 3 R: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.

Nuun kids design  è stata co-fondata nel 2012 da Bruna Vila e Núria Motjé (entrambi architetti e designer), e progetta e produce mobili multifunzionali per bambini, con una linea speciale dedicata alle case che ospitano gemelli o fratelli di età simile. Realizzati in legno con finiture lavagna,  la collezione è dedicata ai bambini dai 6 mesi fino a 10 anni di età ed è progettata per stimolare la creatività e il gioco, l'attività principale dell'infanzia. Inoltre, questi mobili possono essere continuamente riciclati e riutilizzati, e occupano il minor spazio possibile, per essere adattati alle necessità di ogni momento.Perchè è nata Nuun Kids Design? Beh, Bruna e Núria nanno notato che non c'erano molti prodotti dedicati ai gemelli sul mercato. Il loro obiettivo è stato quello di creare mobili di differenziazione che rispecchino i loro valori: la creatività, il gioco e gli aspetti educativi, riusabilità, la multifunzionalità, il minor spreco possibile di imballaggio e la salvaguardia dell'ambiente. Dopo aver trovato il materiale giusto, sono stati effettuati numerosi prototipi, che sono stati in seguito testati sui bambini, per migliorare la loro funzionalità. Questo ha permesso loro di raggiungere il progetto ottimale. Il prodotto è stato lanciato sul mercato, e sta godendo di pareri molto positivi sui mercati europei. Nuun kids design è progettato per gli spazi che sono sensibili ai bisogni dei bambini, dove i bambini possono giocare, creare, imparare, divertirsi e fondamentalmente crescere! Un'occasione per crescere imparando a condividere e interagire è uno dei migliori regali che si possano dare a un bambino.

Made of wood and white blackboard finishing’s, the collection is dedicated to children from 6 months up to 10 years of age and is designed to stimulate creativity and play, the main activity of childhood.
Additionally, this furniture can be constantly recycled and reused, and occupies the least possible space, to adapt it to each moment's need.
They noticed that there are not many products dedicated to twins in the market. Their  goal has been to create differentiating furniture that reflects their values: creativity, the play and educational aspects, reusability, multifunctionality, packing density and ecology. After finding the right material, a large number of prototypes were made, and tested on children, to improve their functionality. This allowed them to achieve the optimum design. The product has been launched onto the market, and it is enjoying very positive acceptance in European markets.
Nuun kids design furniture is designed for spaces that are sensitive to children's needs, where kids can play, create, learn, have fun and basically grow up! A chance to grow up learning to share and interact is one of the best gifts you can give a child. For this reason, at nuun kids design a special thought to furniture for twos has been given.
