Kiwi Crate è un servizio di abbonamento per i bambini, creata da una mamma. Ogni mese, ti da la possibilità di ricevere almeno due scatole contenenti attività creative. 
Spesso infatti siamo a corto di idee, o ci manca il materiale per creare, creare, creare!
Ci sono diversi temi, come il giardinaggio per esempio, oppure la musica, le fate, i supereroi, insomma....ce un tema per tutti i gusti!

Gli abbonamenti sono mensili, ma anche trisemestrali o semestrali!
Sfortunatamente per noi (e per chi come noi vive in Europa) le spedizioni avvengono al momento solo negli Stati Uniti.

Kiwi Crate  is a subscription service for children, created by a mum. Each month, it gives you the opportunity to receive at least two crates containing creative activities.
We often run out of ideas, or we don't have the material to create, create, create!
They offer several themes, such as gardening, or music, fairies, superheroes,  there is theme for everyone!
You can also find inspiration by following their Blog.
There are monthly subscriptions but they also offer 3 and 6 month subscriptions.
Unfortunately we (and those who live in Europe) cannot subscribe, as deliveries are made at the moment only in the United States.

LINEA MAMMABABY

Poco tempo fa abbiamo ricevuto da parte di Maria Elena Olcelli una piccola pochette, contenente una serie di prodotti per la cura e l'igiene dei nostri piccoli: Sapone, Bagno, Doccia Shampoo, Olio di Mandorle Dolci. 
Linea Mammababy è una  nuova linea di prodotti detergenti-cosmetici sia per bambini che per adulti , ideata da Olcelli Farmaceutici s.r.l., azienda che opera nel settore chimico-farmaceutico e dietetico alimentare da  70 anni, il connotato familiare della società ha da sempre consentito una politica aziendale dinamica e flessibile sempre volta alla puntuale risposta alle mutevoli esigenze del mercato sia da un punto di vista qualitativo che normativo.

La prima cosa che ci è piaciuta di questi prodotti è il formato mini, perchè come sapete ci piace viaggiare e questi prodotti sono perfetti per essere messi nello zaino o in valigia!
Ma questa è solo la prima di una lunga serie di caratteristiche positive che contraddistingue questi prodotti.
Innanzitutto sono prodotti Eco-friendly, infatti contengono estratti vegetali da agricoltura biologica, poi non contengono tutte quelle sostanze che sappiamo essere nocive per i nostri piccoli: parabeni, coloranti, Sles etc. Infine sono Made in Italy!
Ma non è tutto...inutile negare che anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte! E chi meglio di questi prodotti dalla grafica accattivante può attrarre mamme e bambini? Il design di questa linea è davvero bellissimo, i disegni che vedete sulle confezioni sono frutto dell'abilità pittorica dell'artista Chiara Belloni, che ci ha incantate con il Cuore -Margherita (Sapone Baby), il Pesciolino - Pasqualino (Bagno Baby), l’Orsetto - Giacomino (Doccia Shampoo Baby),la Palla – Guendalina (Olio di Mandorle Dolci Baby)...Non vi troverete davanti un anonimo flacone, ma potrete ogni inventare una storia: anche il pesce Pasqualino ama fare il bagno, anche l'orso Giacomino si cotona la chioma con un bello shampoo!


E comunque questa linea si chiama Mammababy, ed evidenzia il forte, indissolubile legame tra mamma e bambino...come si può non amarla?

Linea MammaBaby è presente all'edizione 2014 del Pitti Bimbo, che si svolge in questi giorni a Firenze!

Some weeks ago we received from Maria Elena Olcelli a small  clutch bag containing a a variety of natural, organic skin care products for kids and babies:
Soap, Bath, Shampoo and Shower Gel, Sweet Almond Oil. Linea Mammababy is a new line of skin care products-cosmetics for both children and adults, designed by Olcelli Farmaceutici s.r.l., a company that operates in the pharmaceutical and food industry for over 50 years . The connotation of the company family has always allowed and encouraged a dynamic and flexible company policy , aimed at a timely response to the changing needs of the market. 

The first thing that we appreciated of these products is their travel-size, perfect when packing for your vacation, or for creating unique gift baskets. As you know we love to travel and these products are perfect to be easily put in a backpack or suitcase!
But this is only the first of a long series of positive characteristics distinguishing these products.
First of all products are Eco-friendly, in fact, they have made all their liquids, both for children and for the grownups, with extracts from organic farming, with no artificial colors, no parabens, no SLES et. Moreover, they're Made in Italy!
But that's not all ... as you know even the eye wants its part! And yes, their graphic is really eye-catching and can attract mothers and children! The design of this line is really beautiful, the designs you see on the packaging are the result of the ability of the artist Chiara Belloni, who has enchanted us with the Heart-Margherita (Baby Soap), the small fish- Pasqualino (Bath Baby) the Baby Bear - Giacomino (Baby Shower Shampoo), the Ball - Guendalina (Sweet Almond Oil Baby) ... We are not talking about an anonymous bottle, but a wide range of bottles that will inspire you...you will feel like making up a story: "the fish Pasqualino loves to swim", "even Jack the bear is washing his head with a nice shampoo!"

Anyway, dont' forget that this line is called Mammababy (mum and baby), and highlights the strong, unbreakable bond between mothers and babies ... how can you not love it?

 DES ENFANTILLAGES è una collezione di giocattoli in legno creati da Geneviève Lugaz e da sua mamma, che abbiamo scoperto grazie al sito Les loupiots, che seguiamo sempre con interesse. Sulla loro pagina Facebook potrete vedere una serie di immagini relative ai loro bellissimi prodotti, dal design essenziale, come piace a noi!

Genevieve e sua madre sono di Montreal e il 28 Giugno presenteranno la propria collezione all'interno della Boutique Comme des enfants. Niente paura se per caso, come noi, non potrete partecipare all'evento! (ancora non abbiamo prenotato il volo! :)

Sabato 28/06/2014 sarà inagurato anche lo shop on line!

DES ENFANTILLAGES is a collection of wooden toys created by Geneviève Lugaz and her mother, which we discovered thanks to Les Loupiots, a website which we always follow with interest. On their Facebook page you will be able to see a series of images related to their beautiful products, which are characterised by an essential design, which we love!
Geneviève and her mother live and work in Montreal and on the 28th of June they will present their collection  in Montreal: you will find them at the Comme des enfants Boutique. Do not worry if  like us, you won't be able to attend the event! (we still have not booked our flight :) The on line shop will be active from Saturday!

KIRIKI' PRESS

Una cosa è certa: le nostre bambine dovranno imparare l'arte del ricamo!
Perchè non iniziare con i Kit di Kirikì?

Kirikì Press è una società di progettazione ie produzione di Kit fai da te kit di ricamo, serigrafie e altri beni artigianali pregiati. I prodotti e gli imballaggi sono realizzati con materiali di prima qualità che vengono acquistati localmente se possibile.
Lanciato nel 2012 da Michelle Galletta, Kirikì Press è stato creato per offrire prodotti contemporanei e dal design creativo a prezzi accessibili.

Michelle è un’artista appassionata di ricamo, con un BFA ottenuto in Ontario al College of Artand Design University, specializzata in incisione. Ha trascorso tre anni molto belli a Venezia, nella nostra Italia lavorando come rilegatortrice e coordinatrice per uno studio di incisione, prima di tornare a casa a Toronto per dare vita a Kiriki Press.

I suoi Kit sono davvero graziosi. C’è lo STARTER KIT, per principianti, e poi ci sono gli EMBROIDERY KITS suddivisi in tre livelli di difficoltà.

Lo Starter Kit, contiene tutto ciò di cui avrete bisogno per approcciarvi all’arte del ricamo, vale a dire un piccolo telaio, 2 aghi, forbici da ricamo, e anche un libretto didattico illustrato con tutti i punti utilizzati nonché consigli e suggerimenti per perfezionare i vostri punti.

Il Kit di ricamo invece contiene cotone greggio serigrafato, filo per ricamare, imbottitura ecofriendly, istruzioni passo per passo, packaging serigrafato. Una volta finito, l’animaletto realizzato misurerà 12.5 cm circa.

una curiosità: il nome KIRIKI' deriva da Chicchirichì, il canto del gallo in italiano!

Kirikì Press is an indie design company producing D.I.Y. embroidery kits, screen prints and other fine handcrafted goods. Products and packaging are made with premium quality materials that are locally sourced whenever possible.
Launched in 2012 by Michelle Galletta, Kirikì Press was created to offer contemporary and creatively designed products at accessible prices. Michelle is an artist and embroidery enthusiast with a B.F.A. from the Ontario College of Art and Design University, specialized in Printmaking. She spent three very lovely years in our Venice, Italy working as a bookbinder and residency coordinator for a printmaking studio before returning home to Toronto to start Kirikí Press. 
Her kits are really lovely! 
There is a STARTER KIT, which includes includes all of the essential elements you need to start embroidering: 6" Embroidery hoop, Embroidery needles (no. 9 & no. 10), Stork embroidery scissor and  an illustrated instructional book detailing all of the stitches used in Kirikí patterns, as well as tips and tricks for perfecting your stitches.
And there is the EMBROIDERY KIT  available in three different skill levels.
The kit includes Screen printed pattern on unbleached cotton, Printed backing fabric, Range of DMC Embroidery Flos, Eco-friendly stuffing, Step-by-step instructions and Screen printed packaging.
A curiosity: chicchirichí (pronounced ki-kirikí) is Italian for cock-a-doodle-doo :)

MY MIRRORS!

Oggi vi parliamo di My Mirrors: si tratta di specchi realizzati con un procedimento particolare che prevede la presenza di una pellicola antinfortunistica interna per cui, anche in caso di rottura, i frammenti di vetro non cadranno pericolosamente dalla superficie dello specchio ma resteranno incollati alla pellicola colorata interna, evitando così ogni potenziale infortunio accidentale. Inoltre, la particolare resistenza dello strato interno impedirà l’eventuale formazione di larghi frammenti affilati.

In particolare:
- Il vetro usato ha la capacità di mantenersi compatto anche se fratturato;
- Lo specchio è rotondo, cioè privo di angoli o angoli taglienti;
- E' maggiormente resistente agli urti (rispetto ad uno specchio normale);
-E' maggiormente resistente alla corrosione (rispetto ad uno specchio normale)
- E' maggiormente resistente al fuoco (rispetto ad uno specchio normale)

Today we are featuring My Mirrors: they produce a wide range of mirrors made ​​with a particular process, which requires the presence of an internal protective safety film thanks to which, even in case of breakage, the glass fragments will not fall down dangerously but will remain stuck into the internal coloured film. Thanks to that you will avoid any potential accidental injury. Moreover, the specific resistance of the inner layer will prevent the possible formation of large sharp fragments.

In particular:
- The glass used has the ability to remain compact even if broked;
- The mirror is round, without corners or sharp edges;
- It's more resistant if compared to a normal mirror
-It's more corrosion resistant if compared to a normal mirror)
- It 's more resistant to fire if compared to a normal mirror

BLEEBLA

Oggi vi parlaimo di Ana Ferreira (1978) e Luis Leite (1978), una coppia di architetti, genitor di una bambina, che testa tutti i logo prodotti.
Il loro negozio on line, Bleebla, nasce quest'anno (2014) e offre una selezione di MERAVIGLIOSI oggetti per bambini, ma così belli, da attirare l'attenzione di noi adulti.
L'obiettivo dei due designer è quello di produrre articoli di ottima qualità, semplici e senza tempo.
In effetti questi oggetti hanno a nostro avviso, tutte queste caratteristiche. Forse è proprio la loro semplicità a farcene innamorare a prima vista!
I 4 temi principali sono: GIUNGLA, CAMPAGNA, IL MARE E LA FORESTA.
I loro prodotti sono prodotti localmente e utilizzano materiali naturali, caldi, di provenienza certa quando possibile. Anche gli imballi sono in cartone riciclato.
Ana e Luis vivono a Porto in Portogallo…e secondo noi il loro percorso sarà corollato di grandi successi!

Today we are writing about Ana Ferreira (1978) and Luis Leite (1978), a couple of architects with a small daughter who tests the products in firsthand.
Their on line shop was born in 2014 and offers a wide range of FANTASTIC items for kids..well, actually they look so beautiful, that they are able to capture the attention of grown ups too!
Their goal is to produce simple, timeless, high-quality objects that appeal to ageless senses and emotions. They pursue this goal throughout the entire design and production process, focusing on details, on the search and selection of raw materials, on careful manufacturing and packaging choices.
The bleebla collection will gradually bring together a series of products associated with 4 themes – JUNGLE, FARM, SEA AND FOREST.
They privilege natural and warm materials, with rich textures and  their products are manufactured locally, using national or European raw materials that, whenever possible, come from environmentally certified sources and their items are also packaged in FSC - and PEFC - certified recycled cardboard boxes or wrappings.

Ana and Luis live and work in Oporto, Portugal, and we are sure their future will be full of success!
