ÞÚFI

Þúfi è un prodotto destinato a bambini, atto a stimolare la loro immaginazione.
Per la creazione di Þúfi la designer Sonja Björk Ragnarsdóttir si è ispirata alla natura islandese, che lei stessa descrive magnifica e caratterizzata da un elevato contrasto di texture e colori. Questa creazione ricorda una collina situata in un paesaggio di erba soffice e alta. Stendersi tra i cespugli d'erba è calmante e confortevole.
Þúfi è un gioco e un pezzo di arredamento che cresce con il vostro bambino. È composto da due diverse forme attaccate insieme. È possibile utilizzare il Þúfi come coperta o come piccolo rifugio.

Inspiration of Þúfi is taken from the Icelandic nature, the nature in Iceland is magnificent with high contrast in textures and colors, sais the designer Sonja Björk Ragnarsdóttir. Ussock is a hill in a landscape of soft and tall grass. Lying between the tussocks is calming and comfortable citing the use of Þúfi. 

Þúfi is a children’s toy and furniture that grows with the child. It is made
of two different forms that are attached together. You can use the Þúfi as blanket and a shelter by closing the arms with a pentagon on the top of the arms.

One of Iceland’s most popular fairytales is about elves. We all believe in elve stories. Elves live in the stones and hide in between tussocks.
