Maurizio Anzeri, artista italiano che vive lavora a Londra, da nuova vita a vecchie fotografie (molte di bambini) cucendo direttamente su di esse. Fantastici ricami colorati in pieno contrasto con l'aspetto antico delle foto, raccolte in vecchi mercatini dall'artista stesso. Passato e futuro sullo stesso volto. Anzeri cuce in prima persona le sue opere d'arte: una volta realizzato un disegno, lo traccia sulla foto bucandola con strumenti aghiformi da lui creati e rispettando la distanza tra un buco e l'altro per trasmettere un'idea di geometria. Maurizio Anzeri, Italian artist based in London, gives new life to old photographs (many of them are pictures of children) by sewing directly into them.
